On 24th October 2018, the expert jury led by Frans Lanting nominated the photo of the Grevelingenmeer for the WWF Frans Lanting Photo Awards 2018 out of more than 7.000 submissions. 

The photo of the Grevelingenmeer was exhibited in the Rotterdam Fotomuseum.
